LEICESTER CITY LADIES FOOTBALL CLUB (LCLFC) HOLD TOURNAMENT WITH VISITORS FROM STRASBOURG -AS MUSAU LADIES FOOTBALL CLUB

We were absolutely delighted to welcome our friends from our twin town Strasbourg to Leicester for a wonderful weekend of friendship, culture, football, and fun! 

Sightseeing & Culture 

We took our visitors on a tour of some of Leicester’s most treasured landmarks: 

• King Richard III Visitor Centre – exploring the incredible story of the King’s discovery and history: 

• Leicester Cathedral – seeing the final resting place of King Richard III and the stunning architecture: 

• Guildhall Museum – stepping back in time at one of Leicester’s most historic buildings: 

• We also made a tasty stop at Leicester’s oldest sweet shop – a real treat for everyone! 

Food, Drinks & Football 

We enjoyed great food and drinks together, sharing stories and catching up. A real highlight was gathering to watch the Spain vs Belgium match during the Women’s World Cup – the atmosphere was brilliant! 

Sunday Tournament 

On Sunday, we headed to the pitch for our friendly football tournament under the sunshine! Both teams played with great spirit, plenty of laughter, and wonderful team spirit. 

It was such a pleasure to host our Strasbourg friends. Everyone had a truly amazing time, enjoyed each other’s company, and left with wonderful memories – already counting down to our next reunion!
