Message to our twin cities

Dear Mayors of Strasbourg, Haskovo and Krefeld,

Hope all is well with you.

As this awful pandemic continues we share new struggles and battles. However we continue to stay positive and look forward to the future.

I just thought it would be nice to share the following with you. In the UK we are still in lockdown.

As you are aware I work for Cleta and I am also a Manager at our school.

In December I was asked to Manage a Covid testing station to do tests for staff and students at our school. There was a lot of preparation and for months we tested a few students and teachers.

This week we finally got to put it into practice as we have to test all students 3 times before they are allowed to say in school. We have set up a special centre at our school. We have to do 4200 tests in 2 weeks.

I would like to share the following video which has the Headteacher of Judgemeadow School, myself, our centre and what we do. This video is to encourage all our parents to give consent for all our students to have the test.

Please do share this with anyone who remembers their visit to Leicester.

By doing the tests we hope it prevents the spread of this awful virus.
